Treasury Management - Polygon v2 to v3 Migration
01Summary
This AIP migrates the Aave DAO's treasury assets (excluding BAL & CRV) from Aave v2 to Aave v3 on Polygon network. It will withdraw 8 aTokens from v2 (amUSDC, amDAI, amUSDT, amWETH, amWMATIC, amWBTC, amGHST, amLINK) and deposit them along with additional wMATIC and USDC holdings into Aave v3 to generate yield.
- Type
- treasury allocation
Key changes
- Withdraw all aToken balances from Aave v2 Polygon (amUSDC, amDAI, amUSDT, amWETH, amWMATIC, amWBTC, amGHST, amLINK)(high)
- Deposit withdrawn assets and additional treasury holdings (wMATIC, USDC) into Aave v3 Polygon to earn yield(high)
- Migration of DAO treasury from v2 to v3 infrastructure on Polygon network(high)

02Description
Simple Summary
This AIP will migrate all the DAOs assets (except BAL & CRV) held on Polygon v2 to Polygon v3.
Motivation
The DAO's funds on v2 are to be migrated to v3 as part of a broader effort to migrate funds from v2 to v3 on Polygon.
This AIP will implement the following:
- Withdraw all assets from Aave v2 Polygon
- Deposit assets into Aave v3 Polygon
There are several small unproductive holdings within the Polygon treasury. These assets will also be deposited into Aave v3 to earn yield.
- Deposit Assets held in Treasury into Aave v3

Specification
Migrate the following assets from Aave v2 to v3 on the Polygon network.
Deposit funds into Aave v3.

03Mismatch analysis
The proposal is an Aave cross-chain governance action. On mainnet, the DAO does not directly call Aave v2/v3 Polygon contracts; instead it forwards a payload (id 22) to Polygon's governance executor via the standard cross-chain bridge (forwardPayloadForExecution). This is the expected and routine mechanism for executing Polygon-side treasury actions described in the proposal (withdrawing amTokens from Aave v2 and depositing into Aave v3, plus depositing idle wMATIC/USDC). The single decoded action matches the referenced implementation contracts (AaveV2Polygon/AaveV3Polygon migration payloads) linked in the description, and the target chain (137), access level, and executor address are consistent with a legitimate Polygon governance payload dispatch. Because the actual withdraw/deposit logic executes on Polygon via the forwarded payload rather than being decoded in this mainnet calldata, we cannot line-item verify each token amount against the prose, but there is no sign of a mismatched target, unexpected recipient, or extra/missing high-level action at this level - the forwarding call is exactly what this type of proposal is expected to contain. No value, target, or scope mismatches were found between the description's stated intent and the observable calldata structure.}}```wait invalid json - fix. I must output valid JSON only.
