Set Reserve Factors for GUSD and CRV
01Summary
Update reserve factors for GUSD and CRV assets on Aave to 10% and 20% respectively, enabling the protocol to collect a portion of interest paid by takers of liquidity on these assets, which was not configured during their initial listings.
- Type
- parameter change
Key changes
- Set GUSD reserve factor from 0% to 10%(medium)
- Set CRV reserve factor from 0% to 20%(medium)
Notable concerns
- GUSD and CRV reserve factors were not configured during their initial listings (AIP-5 and AIP-6), meaning the protocol has not been receiving interest revenue on these assets until now

02Description
AIP rationale
The reserveFactor allows the FeeCollector smart contract to receive a part of interests paid by takers of liquidity, each asset on AAve has it's own reserveFactor set.
AIP-5 and AIP-6 creators didn't set a reserve factor for GUSD and CRV, which means protocol is not receiving anything from the outstanding debt on these assets.
This AIP purpose is to update the reserveFactor of the assets GUSD and CRV.
-

03Mismatch analysis
The proposal describes two actions: setting the reserveFactor for GUSD to 10% and for CRV to 20%, executed via setReserveFactor on the lending pool configurator contract. The decoded calldata contains exactly two calls to setReserveFactor on the same target contract address referenced in the implementation details. Action 0 targets the GUSD token address with value 1000 (basis points = 10%), matching the description. Action 1 targets the CRV token address with value 2000 (basis points = 20%), also matching. Addresses, values (after basis-point conversion), and target contract all align precisely with the prose. No omitted, extra, or mismatched actions were found. The proposal describes two actions.
