GHO Arbitrum Parameter Adjustments
01Summary
Aip to increase GHO stablecoin parameters on Arbitrum: raising the ETH-Arbitrum bridge limit from 2.5M to 20M, CCIP Facilitator Capacity from 2.5M to 20M, supply cap from 1M to 5M, and borrow cap from 0.9M to 4.5M. Changes are driven by rapid capacity utilization and favorable liquidity conditions, endorsed by Chaos Labs.

- parameter change
Key changes
- Eth GHO Bridge Limit increased from 2.5M to 20.0M(high)
- Arb GHO Facilitator Capacity increased from 2.5M to 20.0M(high)
- Arb GHO Supply Cap increased from 1.0M to 5.0M(high)
- Arb GHO Borrow Cap increased from 0.9M to 4.5M(high)
Notable concerns
- Previous 2.5M CCIP capacity was filled within 90 minutes indicating rapid demand
- Changes are predicated on expected ARB liquidity mining conditions

02Description
Simple Summary
This AIP will adjust several GHO related parameters on Arbitrum.
Motivation
After increasing the CCIP Facilitator Capacity from 1.0M to 2.5M, the new capacity was filled within 90 minutes.
With better than anticipated liquidity conditions and ARB liquidity mining on Aave Protocol expected to start soon, this publication proposes several parameter increases that are supportive of enabling GHO to grow more freely.
The parameter adjustments presented below are endorsed by Chaos Labs as an Aave DAO Risk Service Provider.
Specification
This proposal will implement the following parameter adjustments.
| Parameter | Current | Proposed |
|---|---|---|
| Eth GHO Bridge Limit | 2.5M | 20.0M |
| Arb GHO Facilitator Capacity | 2.5M | 20.0M |
| Arb GHO Supply Cap | 1.0M | 5.0M |
| Arb GHO Borrow Cap | 0.9M | 4.5M |

03Mismatch analysis
The proposal follows Aave's standard governance execution pattern: a single mainnet action calling execute() on a payload contract, which internally performs the detailed parameter changes (and forwards instructions cross-chain to Arbitrum). The decoded calldata here has no arguments and simply invokes the fallback execute() function, so it does not expose the underlying parameter values (bridge limit, facilitator capacity, supply/borrow caps) for direct comparison against the prose. This is consistent with typical Aave AIP tooling where the real logic resides in a separate payload contract not visible in this single decoded action. Since we cannot verify the specific numeric changes claimed in the description against the calldata (the execute() call carries no decoded arguments), confidence is low. However, the structure (one execute() call to a payload/controller address) is exactly what is expected for this type of proposal and does not on its face contradict the description. No values, targets, or omissions can be confirmed as mismatched, so no discrepancies are flagged, and the overall assessment is consistent, with low confidence reflecting the opacity of the decoded calldata rather than any identified conflict.
